Family

Thomas Stang, her second husband was also married twice; his first wife was Agnes Schweigaard. He owned the fabric maarud. After some years he lost his money and got bankruptcy. They had two sons, Tommeliten and Fabian Stang. Tommeliten died when he was four years old. Their son Fabien Stang is the mayor in Oslo, the capital in Norway.

She has played in around 45 movies and series. It is written eight books about her. Her first movie was the comedy Tørres Snørtevold, there she played frøken Thorsen. Her last movie was i siste øyeblikk (in the last movement).

Because Wenches son is the governor in Oslo, Wenche has always given him a helping hand and has also supported him.  When her first son was born with Down syndrome, she took part in a lot of problems and made the life easier for a lot of handicapped people. She was one of the first to stand out public with her breast cancer. She helped the weak a lot and always did the best.

Her death

Wenche died 28 march 2011. She was 93 years old and lived a eventful life. After her death, it was made a statue of her. A lot of people visited her statue after her death and they still do.  Her work as an actress still lives and nobody has forgot her.
